Dear Brothers and Sisters;

On August 12, 2008 the EMS bargaining unit met again with the City.

The City presented a schedule/chart for the 12 hour tour with built in over time.

The issues that have not changed;

15 ½ % raise over 4 years

No Haz-Tac differential

No Medic Officer Money

On Wednesday, the city sent over to our negotiator the cost to buy RIP money for our member with less then 10 years in title. It is currently being reviewed.

It appears the city has moved in the direction to negotiate with the unions.

I will continue to fight for what is fair and due for our members.
