Dear Members,

 

The EMS Bargaining Unit of Locals 3621 & 2507 met with the City yesterday for another session of bargaining.

I have to report to you that the city’s proposal in summary was very disappointing.

The details of the proposal will be available on the Local’s web site shortly for members to review. Also Local delegates have been briefed and will be available to answer your questions.

The Local still reserves its right to proceed to arbitration. That process will start in January 2009.

Our goal is to bring the best economic and benefit package to our members.
