FLSA UPDATE

Any member that receives a new or second FLSA package should respond ASAP!!
That means the city never received the first one. Make sure you send it certified mail.

The links below contain information regarding the FLSA Lawsuit.

The first link is a letter written to the Judge from the law firm Jackson & Lewis (the city). Attorney Pat Bonanno assisted in requesting an extension to the deadline so that late submissions would be accepted.

The second link is the information that clearly states members involved with the 2507 FLSA suit WOULD NOT be giving up their rights to any awards given.

If you agree mail out your consent form with your W9 tax form (sample W9 in FLSA lawsuit section of web site).

If you object then mail out your consent form and write I object and reserve my right to pursue a lawsuit in the comments section of the consent form.

Of course if you need the FLSA documents or have any questions you may contact the Union office.

FLSA Attorneys Pat Bonanno & Thomas Gambino have provided this letter to our members in regards to their concerns from being precluded from collecting any award in any other lawsuit.
